I’d like to try these under trees. Tropical epiphytes do well in the ground here in south west coastal Florida because we don’t typically have any real topsoil here. We have white sand instead. White sand doesn’t hold any moisture so here at ground level under trees, it’s a similar humid but free draining, frost-free growing environment as would be found up in the trees in the true tropics. Frost sometimes forms at the tops of trees and shrubs here but not usually at ground level.

Followed your video exactly here near the Canadian border in Vermont. It worked! When uncovered in mid-May Central trunk had turned to mush and one or two tiny, feeble looking side shoots were present. Now 2 weeks later and the shoots are almost doubling in size every 24hours. 😳

The most informative information I have seen online .❤ . Thank you both I have been a fan of Logees since I was about 7 and now that I'm in my 50s I have been able to purchase the outstanding selections you offer please keep the videos coming. I find that more people will be interested if the information comes in this format . It gives a more personalized description giving ease and understanding. When Byron shows the possible size of plants and their habit of growth. One day I hope to visit your greenhouses I think they should be on a historical landmark. Maybe some people locally will see my message and agree. Heritage in the business of introducing these plants to the public from when they were all the rage during Victorian time. Please consider this idea I think it's good for business. ❤
